Babies, Tots and Teens 

Reflexology is for all ages and stages of life, reflexology is an amazing treatment for babies as it can be used from birth. I  wanted to continue to work with children so I completed The Children's Reflexology Programme.

The Children's Reflexology Programme enables me to teach parents and carers how to use the skill of reflexology in their own home. 

This course is made up of 6 sessions, the first session is a introduction into the reflexes and where to find them on the feet and how to work the reflexes. The following 5 sessions are based on the  needs of the parents in the group. Each topic covered comes with a booklet for you to take away so that you have the routine to hand at home. 

The topics covered - 

Ante-natal and Newborn - Pre and Post Immunisation - Digestive Problems - Reflux - Teething - Colic - Ear Problems - Allergies - Coughs and Colds - Tantrums - Bed wetting - Sleep

Reflexology as part of your newborn baby's routine can be very beneficial 

as not only is the treatment helpful to your baby but it's also amazing for

bonding time with baby and both parents. 

Reflexology is also a great treatment for yourself as a new mum,

it can help you with your hormones and the quality of sleep that you are getting.

The course can be run for children from birth to 7 years old. Each course can

be tailored to suit the needs of the group. 

There are many situations where reflexology can help you with your young children, where you may want them to have a treatment, I can treat children with a parent present from the age of 5 years. This can help with sleeping, separation anxiety, starting school. Reflexology can aid young children as they are growing physically and emotionally all of which can cause stress to young children.

Teens are under so much stress and pressure in todays world, according to the office of national statistics 10% of teenagers are being diagnosed with an emotional disorder. Although not all teenagers will suffer with an emotional disorder they will need some coping strategies to help them manage stress. Reflexology can help them sleep better, feel calmer and improve their general wellbeing. 

I have been lucky enough to work with a few teen youth groups where I have gone along and shown them some self help reflexes that they can use during times of stress or needing sleep. 

I have worked with the groups and working individually with young teenagers.
